It’s hardly holiday weather, and the self-catering villa on the French Riviera is closed throughout January and February, opening in Mid-March.
March, April, May
Average temperature: 11°C – 16°C
This is a great time to visit the Cote d’Azur if you’re not keen on blistering Mediterranean heat. You’ll be able to wander around the beautiful cities of Nice and Cannes, perhaps go hiking in the nearby countryside and even take up some tennis at one of the many courts around Vence – all without breaking too much of a sweat in the temperate and mild climate.
June, July, August
Average temperature: 20°C – 23°C
Average temperatures are around 20°C but don’t be surprised if the mercury rises even higher during these months! The gorgeous hot summers of the south of France are great for sun-seekers and those who love to recline on the beach or by the pool on their holidays. Rainy days are unheard of during the summer months, so you’re almost guaranteed an idyllic holiday, weather-wise.
September, October
Average temperature: 16°C - 20°C
Temperatures start to cool but they’re still warm enough for a sun-kissed visit as the holiday season continues in the first half of September. October brings the odd chance of rain, so guests are advised to come prepared for all weather – but sunny days are still the norm.
November, December
Average temperature: 10°C - 12°C
The temperature has dropped drastically and the villa in Vence has closed for another season. We hope to see you back in the following year when the mercury begins to rise again!
